! The SD card reader I got for my DS only works with the DS lite. :( But Jump Ultimate Stars, Castlevania, Contact, Kirby, Metal Slug, and Rayman are all pretty fun. Edit: Happy New year.
christmas I have to leave for Christmas which will be a drag because of all my Wii plans crumbling. The classes this year are kind of annoying but not a big deal. I'll just coast by without doing anything again. I've been waiting for some Wii games to be released but it's getting annoying. I want that Mario deal already but whatever. What really grinds my gears is that it turns out to be region-locked after all. The Bleach game I wanted cant be played and it looks like such a promising fighting game. Well a modchip should be released soon enough so no big deal. Elebits is actually looking pretty fun. When I first saw it, it looked bad but the gameplay has a much faster pace than I expected. It looks worth owning. Anyway, anyone wanting to get me a nunchuck for christmas is more than welcome to. ;)
recent Dodd came over and fixed my router so I have the internets once more. The Wii is the best. Zelda kicks arse. Anyone wanting to do some sort of Wii connection, I'm game.
wii I'm getting pretty pumped for the Wii. I dont know of many that are getting it on release sure thing but the Thanksgiving holiday promises my moving from place to place with Wii in hand. Well not so much as a promise as much as a desire. After Christmas I will be able to drive so who cares anyway? I was thinking about trying to get into an rts (I have never been good at that genre and it feels odd to have such a huge gap) but none of them are that appealing to me. People say starcraft, but whatever. For now, I can only anticipate the large assortment of games about to crash down on me for the holidays. Hopefully I can get Contact before then.

update First update in a while. Ren fest was swell, even with all the heat and wads of cash jumping from my wallet. Something about using Gtalk makes Aim seem like such a bother. Minish Cap was a fun zelda game with alot of stuff to do but now that it's 100% complete, I need to put it down. What I need now is a Wii. Someone made a demo of the Mii design interface based off of what was shown at the presentation. It seems to give the user a pretty good idea about the system in question. We've had to buy all sorts of shizzle lately. Whatever, I dont pay for any of it. Oh yeah, if you own a DS and you still dont plan on buying pokemon when it comes out, you are a failure. It basically took what all the other pokemon games were and then fixed al the blatant flaws. However, the voicechat thing sounds like a bad idea. I can just imagine it already: Pikachu used tail whip! user1: what a noob! Nidoking uses horn drill! user1: BOOM! HEADSHOT. I guess it will reveal how adult pokemon games actually are with all the casual swearing that is sure to take place when I whip out Wobuffet.
Lock in So that lock in turned into another RE:4 presentation. I was worried at the beginning because of all the warcraft, but then I played some melee and then we decided to beat RE:4 in one night. So it was basically mystery science theater 3000 cept with videogames. We cracked so many jokes during the whole thing... Then we beat it with less than a minute to spare. I still havent gotten any sleep though.

E3 (For your future, I thought I'd just use up all puns involving the word "Wii" just in case someone tries to be clever.) So I was watching EWii and it was alright. No Wiiner of the console wars yet but Wii can expect some Wiisults after the WiiWiise date. The Wiimote (actual name) scheme looks awesome on red steel. Not to mention all those new WiiS games comin out. 500 $ for a PSWii though? Ah Wiize. I mean Wiily. The controller Wiilly was ripped off though. They said not nintendo but Microsoft. Wii comin out in Wiinter also means Zelda. I cant decide on the Wii version or the classic version. I Wiily just have to Wiid inbetWiin the lines here. Tomorrow, Wii'll find out more about all those new games. I guess it Wiill be sWiir. (Re and Le is the only combonation of letters that Wii was assigned to unless there were some special occurences. Doing any more puns would really just be milking the title though so I hope you can get over them already.)
Silent Hill So Silent Hill was okay in a sense where I liked to watch it. It was very nice looking visually but plot-wise is a different story (pun). That whole Salem witch trial deal has never been appealing to me. Music was awesome and I suspected it was from the game. As for the whole creature bag, it was disappointing. Sure, I got to see all these things but they didnt actually do anything. The only one who did something was pyramid head. (He ripped the flesh off of a girl and threw it at the main character) Ten seconds after this actually. The barbed wire thing is sorta boring though. As weak as the plot was, it managed to explain it for two hours. Why it takes so long, I'll never find out. So another imperfect attempt of a videogame adaptation is born. To put it simply, this movie is not for people who watch horror movies for the plot or for the scares, this is really just horror. Nothing jumps out. I recommend watching it just for something to see. It is more of a large commercial for the game really.
We went to some party at Stef's. Things seemed to have remained the same there. I feel like playing Metal Gear again. :( I was completely terrible at the game but whatever. It'd be cool just to record a speedrun with movies included. That would save me alot of time. Holy week starts. Expect alot of death.
